No visors good fit in the Nike football helmet Ion 4D?

I've seen football players at Penn State using them and seems to fit nicely, but I think it can be modified to fit the helmet visor. Schutt on the website says that dont fit visors and ions that have been modified. Nike are the thinner barrier or Why? Do you think we will be okay to put a Nike visor on it?
