Does anyone here agree that the Winter Olympics is better than the Stanley Cup?
The quality of hockey is better at the Stanley Cup without question but the Winter Olympics has more than hockey to offer. Such as right after a hockey game you might see a ski jumping competition or a bobsled race.
WOW, alot of people take what I said WAY OUT OF CONTEXT. I was NOT saying I didn’t like hockey. I just said I like hockey but the Olympics offers stuff in ADDITION to hockey.
I love watching the Olympics! Both winter and summer. I like the build up to four year time between games. I like seeing the different cities and countries. I like rooting for other countries’ athletes, too. I love the opening ceremonies. I love it when the underdog wins.
But….there is nothing like game seven of the Stanley Cup Finals even if your team isn’t there.
